Vacuum Casting System

For vacuum casting system, the vacuum vessels/chambers are core equipment in manufacturing and material processing, particularly in polyurethane rapid prototyping, resin casting, and high-voltage electrical insulation manufacturing. Their primary function is to mix and cast materials in a near-vacuum environment to completely eliminate air bubbles, ensuring the compactness, strength, and surface finish of the manufactured parts. Vacuum mixer can be added as a step before this vacuum casting vessel to ensure that the resin is mixed and the entire casting process is in a vacuum state, preventing the formation of air bubbles and achieving excellent bubble-free casting results.

Introduction to Vacuum Casting System

After resin is poured into the mold, a solidification stage is required. If there are dead corners in the mold during pouring, preventing the resin from flowing properly, air bubbles will form. This will cause the resin to fail to meet production specifications after solidification. For example, in the resin casting and solidification process for transformers, due to the many dead corners, the resin cannot reach every part, resulting in residual air bubbles. How can this problem be avoided? A vacuum casting system can perfectly solve this problem. First, the resin undergoes defoaming treatment before pouring. Then, the resin is connected to the vacuum casting system through pipelines, with valves controlling the liquid flow into the system. Before the liquid enters, the vacuum casting system is evacuated, ensuring virtually no air residue. This allows the resin to more easily penetrate every corner of the transformer. Maintaining a vacuum throughout the process prevents air from re-entering the resin. If you have specific requirements for the resin's solidification time, a heating function can be added. We can use a heating device to control the temperature inside the vacuum casting vessel, achieving save time and perfect resin defoaming and casting.  The vacuum system material can be made by SS304 or SS316L or carbon steel as the needs.
