I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating: nobody’s real-world application matches a generic catalog chamber. That’s why at Chendun, we stopped trying to fit customers into boxes – literally. Instead, we build custom vacuum chambers, complete with the right pump, the right plumbing, and the right little details that make your process actually work.
Let me walk you through what we can do. Not theoretical – stuff we’ve already delivered.
Some companies sell you a bare chamber and say “good luck.” We don’t. We’ll supply the vacuum pump (rotary vane, dry screw, Roots, whatever your application needs) and all the connecting lines, valves, and fittings. No chasing down missing adapters at 4 PM on a Friday.
More importantly, we’ll recommend the right material and vacuum level based on what you’re actually doing. Not over-specced to jack up the price, not under-specced to win the bid and leave you stuck.
We don’t believe in one material for everything. Here’s what we offer:
You tell us your vacuum pressure requirement – down to 10⁻⁶ Torr or just 200 Torr – and we’ll pick the right material and wall thickness. Simple.
Round, square, rectangular, hexagonal, domed, stepped, or something completely odd. We can customize the shape of the vacuum chamber or sealed box to fit your product, your production line, or your space constraints. Don’t let a standard cylinder force you to redesign your test. Tell us the dimensions and shape you want – we’ll build it.
Ever tried to add a sensor to a chamber that has only one useless port? Frustrating. We start by asking: what needs to go in or out of your chamber?
We recently built a chamber for a battery tester that needed twelve individual wires going in. Twelve. We made a custom multi-pin feedthrough flange. No leaks, no hassle.
Yes, you can have both. We add heating elements (mica heaters, silicone mats, or cartridge heaters depending on temperature range) and temperature controllers with PID tuning. For cooling, we can run chilled fluid through internal coils or use Peltier modules for smaller chambers.
Humidity is trickier, but we have a solution: a controlled water vapor injection system with a heated line. We’ve done everything from 20% RH to 95% RH under reduced pressure. Just tell us your target – e.g., “85°C / 85% RH at 50 Torr” – and we’ll size the vapor generator.
Sometimes vacuum isn’t the end goal – it’s the means to remove air so you can backfill with something else. Argon, nitrogen, helium, even reactive gases. Our chambers come with gas inlet and purge valves, plus a vent port. You can cycle between vacuum and gas fill as many times as needed.
We’ve built “atmosphere chambers” for customers who want a controlled environment at sub-atmospheric pressure – like 500 Torr of nitrogen with 5% hydrogen. No problem.
Standard chambers often come with one fixed shelf. That’s rarely enough. We’ll build custom shelves – multiple levels, removable, with or without holes.
Speaking of holes: we can perforate the shelves (openings of any size and pattern) so that vacuum reaches your sample from all sides. This is critical for drying powders, degassing foams, or testing circuit boards where every surface matters.
And yes, some customers use the holes to mount vacuum pressure gauges or other electrical components directly onto the shelf. We’ll add threaded inserts or pass-through holes exactly where you need them.
This is our specialty. Whether you’re degassing epoxy resin, silicone rubber, transformer oil, or food slurry, we can build a custom vacuum degassing system.
What does “custom” mean here? It means we ask:
Then we design the chamber size, the pump capacity, the stirring mechanism (if needed), and the fill/discharge ports. We’ve done small benchtop units for jewelry casting and huge tanks for industrial epoxy – the same principles, scaled up.
Here’s the honest truth: we’re based in China, and we use the full industrial supply chain here. That means we get raw steel, glass, pumps, fittings, sensors, and controllers fast and affordably. That savings goes to you. We’re not reinventing the wheel – we’re assembling the best wheels at a fair price.
We’ve reached a point where our vacuum chambers and complete systems are genuinely leading in the industry. Not because of magic, but because we listen, we customize, and we test before shipping.
We’re not trying to be the biggest. We’re trying to be the most helpful. When you work with us, you get a chamber that fits your process, not the other way around. You get a partner who answers the phone when something weird happens.
That’s the “win-win.” Your application works. Our reputation grows.
So whether you need a simple acrylic box with a KF fitting and a humidity probe – or a fully tempered glass chamber in a custom hexagon shape with heated shelves and gas backfill – reach out. Tell us your messy details. We’ll build exactly what you described, and probably a few things you forgot to mention.
